    Weapons can be added to any ship with at least 1 Weapon Slot. Weapons may be bought at homeworlds.

    Lets go in order of the chart above:

    Weapon Class: This is the weapon type. Depending on the weapon type it may have Equipment that can be attached to the ship to improve the performance of the Weapon. Note Any Size 5 or Planetary Siege class weapons cannot fire against ships, they will only fire against planet or ports. If you attempt to fire a Planetary Siege class weapon at a ship it will malfunction.

    Weapon Size: This is the weapon size. A ship must be at least this size to carry this weapon. Note Any Size 5 or Planetary Siege class weapons cannot fire against ships, they will only fire against planets. If you attempt to fire a Planetary Siege class weapon at a ship it will malfunction.

    Shield Damage: This is the amount of Shield damage a single turret of this type can do. Note Accuracy can affect this damage estimate severely.

    Armor Damage: This is the amount of Armor damage a single turret of this type can do. Note Accuracy can affect this damage estimate severely.

    Fighter Damage: This is the amount of Fighter damage a single turret of this type can do. Note Accuracy can affect this damage estimate severely.

    Weapon Accuracy: The Accuracy of a weapon determines how much damage the weapon will deal. A low accuracy weapon will tend to do less than the rates listed while a high accuracy weapon will tend to do more.

    Weapon Rating: When you purchase a weapon, it's rating is added to your Ships rating. This number is a reflection of how strong a ship can be versus a planet or a ship.

    Weapon Reputation: A weapon's reputation is the amount of reputation required with the appropriate faction before you can purchase the weapon. The faction the weapons belong to are indicated by the color of the weapon name in the help files.

    Weapon Tech: Weapon tech is the amount of Tech Units that a weapon costs in addition to the normal credit cost.


    Note: Weapons will fire in the order you have installed them into your ships weapon slots. Please see the Combat section for an example of a combat report.
